The main riff and chorus are both super catchy as well so I think this will most likely be a great song for our live sets!
The lyrics are about a man suffering from alzheimer's, how he is confused and scared, surrounded by strangers in a place he does not recognize. Constantly trying to find comfort and safety without success, he only wishes to feel alive and loved again, while having distant flashes of memories from his youth.
I wrote these lyrics because alzheimer's is just a horrible condition that actually brings me anxiety and I needed to express it somehow, so this is the result!"
