"'You can spot, from a distance, a madman making sense. 'End Transmission' became the foundation of the record's concept and the gateway to our newfound love for all things synth. As we worked on the album, this track opened up the space to blend electronic and found sounds, taking our music in a more cinematic direction. We first trialled this on tour with Oranssi Pazuzu in 2022, and it quickly became the highlight of our set. It marked the beginning of our shift in direction, and became a highlight of the show for us and the crowd. This song is like the climax of a film, reminiscent of the 16-minute piece from The Dark Knight— a riffy and cinematic crescendo to the new album. It created the perfect conclusion before leading to the album's final track, 'Home'."
