Il gruppo inglese e la remix culture viaggiano di pari passo dai primi anni ottanta e questo secondo capitolo di una raccolta dalle proporzioni spaventose ci conferma il talento dei musicisti che si sono messi in gioco sulla genialita' compositiva di Martin Gore. In un periodo storico condizionato dal free downloading potrebbe apparire inutile una compilazione del genere ma vi assicuro che l'ordine dei brani, la confezione del packaging e la produzione dell'originale superano qualunque shared file che trovate in rete. L'inizio e' semplicemente da brividi e la versione destrutturata di 'John The Revelator' da parte di James Lavelle rappresenta uno degli apici assoluti. I Digitalism giocano con la tecno francese, Oliver Huntemann e Stephan Bodzin spingono avanti i bpm mentre Dan The Automator, apparso di recente con i Dredg, regala luce nuova a 'Only When I Lose Myself'. Vince Clarke e Alan Wilder tornano in vita offrendoci nuove visioni di 'Behind The Weel' e 'In Chains' che fanno trasparire un po' di nostalgia per gli anni perduti. Infine tocca ai Röyksopp dimostrare di possedere una classe superiore cimentandosi con le seducenti note di 'Puppets'. Non tutto risulta indispensabile ma l'acquisto e' ugualmente consigliato a tutti coloro credono nell'evoluzione di un certo tipo di elettronica.
