Quinto episodio della famigerata compilation a cura di Alfa Matrix che ha selezionato sessantaquattro tracce tra le rarità dei gruppi appartenenti al suo catalogo e remix di artisti che hanno mostrato di avere un peso importante nell"evoluzione della dance alternativa moderna. Come al solito il rapporto qualità prezzo dell"opera è abbastanza elevato considerata la presenza di gruppi del calibro di Combichrist, Suicide Commando, Das Ich, Leaether Strip, Nachtmahr e Komor Kommando ma su quattro cd capita anche di imbattersi in materiale più che trascurabile. Fatta questa doverosa premessa direi di segnalare le cose migliori tra cui sicuramente troviamo il modulate mix di "Die Motherfucker Die" dei Suicide Commando e il remix di Sebastian Komor di "Chemicals & Circuitry" dei Grendel. Banthier si preoccupa di rileggere "Death Threat" dei My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult mentre "Das Bunkleried" dei Das Ich fa sempre la sua figura in mezzo a tanti giovani manipolatori elettronici. Il valore delle “nuove proposte” è ancora difficile da giudicare. L"impressione generale è che il movimento ebm sia in declino creativo e debba ancora trovare un rimedio al crollo sistematico di interesse nei suoi confronti. Infine "All Pain Is Gone" dei Combichrist e "War On The Dancefloor" dei Nacthmahr credo ormai le sappiano a memoria anche i miei vicini di casa e quindi...
